Some many people are looking for ways to stop making their boss not only million but billion and even trillions of dollars each year. Of course the reason for this trend is down sizing due fear with the changes in government like heath care, equal pay for equal work or, just effecting the company's bottom line. Now if you becoming one of the lucky ones not to get the boot. Congratulation to the extra work with out the extra pay. Let's not forget about longer work days away from your family. Also throw in no pension,higher insurance and a Christmas bonus, quit and walk out the door with the others.
Now the ones that have lost there jobs due to down sizing or what ever the company could come up with, in order to quote on quote "protect the bottom line" or just flat out said it's Obama fault. As if every one forgot how we got in the pickle in the first place.
Well, this is not a political blog so let me jump back on track. So let's start with trends and understanding how this all comes together. Before the industrial age most people worked their farm lands, mom and pop store, cleaned homes and and I can go on and on. What I need you to understand is we have made a 360 degree turn back before the industrial age.
I'm not saying this country is falling or has lost it's economic strengh. No we are still the one of the power houses in the united nations. And what we are going through now is one of the best things that can happen to us. the trend is starting all over like how clothing goes in out of style and how some sneak back. This is the same kind of thing.
only, now we are contractor, Internet marketers, bloggers/You tube blogger,MLM and real estate investor and the list goes on. We are now starting to depend on self again not on companies that will leave you just as broke when you walked through the door.
So you see we have made a 360 degree turn but this time the stakes are higher, and if you are lucky to be around for another 20 to 30 years you will see it all over again but the stakes will be the higher then. If you have lost your job but not your mind then consider your self the lucky. Especially if you have a little saving or even support of some kind you can know plan a better life for your self. Stop thinking about the past just learn from it trust me it will help you. Don't worry about having money to go back to school first, think about how you can make some money. Like how they had to due back in the early 1900. You have technology at your feet that can push you faster if you know how to think. I know most of us do that every day, not all but most.
Now that you are still in your right mind use it buy going to a quiet place and not the insane asylum. Sit and think what have I done the past years not only paid bills but what job you loved working for. this will get you started on how to create your niche.
Let me say this, what every you do make sure you love it. You have passion for it, you can work all day and not get enough of it. But keep it legal, that's the only thing that's going to sustain you and keep you motivated. You may have to at firs leave way below you means. You may even have to put your pride in the back of the closet and draw unemployment and get on government assistants till you start making money, and remember your taxes paid some of that.
You have to do what ever you have to do, so you can become more independent.
Now I know you might be reading this blog saying to yourself that your don't know what your passion is. I'm hear to tell you that you are lying to yourself. If you have lived for more then 15 years some thing has made you happy, something in your life you have done over and over again and look forward to doing it again. Get out of your feeling and get into your head. This is the time to due it because as I stated you have the gift of technology at your finger tips. You did not find what you are reading now in the library on a book shelf or out on the streets right? If you did I'm better then I thought.
Let me help you get started grab something to write with and some paper then write down where you would like to be in your life if five years from now. Looking to have a new home,car, money to travel around the world, more time to spend with your family write it down do it now.
Now that's done, find some pictures of your dreams you would like to have no matter how big. You can put them on a wall,in a box some place where only you can look at it every day and yes you need to see it every day. So much to win you close your eyes you can still see it, dream it, love it,think about it. This is your motivation that will fuel your passion to keep moving.
Now I know you are not going to like this but, you can't have a test with out a testimony so you are going to have to cut not only some things but some people lose. You know what I'm talking about? Let me help you out drinking slow down the mind, smoking and taking legal drugs shorten your attention spanned, Some friend not all, will tell you things to make you second guess your dreams. Some will even try to stop or hinder you from working and building a better life for yourself. they are all red flags, remember what's not for you is always against you. Their is no sitting on the fence. If you feel they will not support you cut them loose now and save your self the headaches. You don't have time for that trust me your are about to get out of your comfort zone and the last thing you need is road blocks you have placed there. Get it and them out now you are about to change your life and to great things with it.
When you get that done now you need to look at what you are good at. what have you done in the pass to make money. Think about what you love to do and make them come together in some kind of way. This is the start of your business plan this will get your brain thinking and you motivated. Write down your thoughts then walk away for about 30 minutes come back and read over it again. If you still feel the same way when you started writing then you are on the right track. If you don't like it then only make some changes to it don't re-write or you have just taken the most valuable thing from your business and that's time. you can get a lot of things back but time is not one of them. change some things and come back again in 30 minutes and start the proses all over again.
Do you see where this is going? You are working this as if it's your job. You do remember how hard you worked for that company just with out the boss and the office politics. What I'm saying is keep the work ethics but now you work for your self so work harder then you did for that corporate president that did not know your name or cared if your child our yourself was site.
I'm going to let you know now if you think working for yourself will be easier then working for the company you know longer work for think again. You are sales and marketing, accounting, management, customer service,chipping and receiving all of it and what doe's not get down will only take your company longer to grow. Now hope this does not have you running back to your last job begging to get back in. Now with all the hard work you will have to do let me tell you what you well get.
the ability to sell and market something you love, pay your self before you pay taxes and remember when you work from home mortgage or rent, utilities, travel to gain prospect, food and even clothing. Now managing your business and time works around your schedule, customer service is a no brainier if you worked before you know customer service. Treat people how you like to be treated and you will go a long way. chipping and receiving you will see it as your company making progress and that feeling alone will keep you from working for any one else.
The last thing I'm going to leave with you is you don't need to know how to get started just get started doing some and keep building on it every day even if you are just working on small project like making phone call. Do something and also read about your niche, talk to people in your niche market that making things happen. You tube is one of the best thing on the Internet that can give you information from people that doing the same thing you love. The last three thing is patience,faith in your self, and the ability to never give up know matter what other say.

Internet marking for the holidays
I was speaking with an online friend through face book and this person was telling me that this time of the year is the largest part of their income for the hole year. Do to they only sale products that's very holiday specific.
I ask the reason for only selling holiday based products and services. This is when I learned something very important to Internet marketing. I found that it's not about the products and services as much as it it is about the people you have on your list.
Now, I know about auto responders and building a list for product and service. What was shard with me made me think twice about my list and how I used it. I was informed that eight months out of the year, once amount, is sending emails in bulk to prospects along with sharing stories and sending videos and pictures of vacations and even sending invites to a child's wedding.
Now at first I was thinking to my self dam you lonely has hell or bored and need to some more online projects and was about to start with my sales pitch to draw this person in on my opportunity, but instead something inside said no, just see where these person head is and see what knowledge you can gain from this conversation.
After chatting on line for about 30 minutes we decided to speak over the phone. During that time we talked about our families and friend and how we got started with online marketing. This was one of the most productive business meeting with know sales I have ever had with some one over the phone.
After talking for another hour I asked, don't you have the desire to make more money on line with your business that's when I was informed that this what they did on line but rest of here life they only did things that they enjoyed doing but only did it when thing where slow like finding homes for investors. That's when I was informed my site shared a program called Freedom soft and the only reason this person checked it out was because of the ward "freedom". Now all this time I was trying to think of a way to sale and a sale was made with out me selling.
I asked was that the only reason you made the purchase and was told hell know, it was because of what we are doing now, becoming friends. That when it all came together for me with online marketing. People only by from people they fill they know and trust.
Now I put more of me in my blogs and don't take this online marketing thing to serous. I just relax and get to know the people I'm selling to and getting to know some on a higher level. I ask things like what are they looking to do with their online business, what is there five year plan to grow their business, do they have family/friend support, what do they like about what they do and are they helping others. these five question can give you so much information about a person but it can also tell you how to help them to succeed and even build a great friendship. So use your auto responder for more that just a net and landing page to capture your clients. Use it to nourish your business. It's better to have a small group on your list that is loyal to your product and services then to have a large list of people that will never by any thing you have to sale.

when I started online marketing
When I started online marketing I was just like every newbie thinking. I'm going to be reach and tell my boss to kiss my well, you know where I'm going that. So I build a website because I was told. "You have to have a website" in order for people to find you on the world wide web. Not, you only need to a website if you trying to gain a following don't get me wrong I got one but did not know the first thing on what it should look like. What I was going to sell, how I people would find out I was even on line. Now the person that sold me my first web site sold me the dream with out the blue print. He did what he set out to do and that was sell the web site. I could not be mad with him he gave me just what he knew I could use. I had to start some where.
At this time I knew nothing about affiliate marketing or that I could even sale other companies products and services on my site and make a profit so I did something I knew about and that was productions making things happen more like event planning. so I have a web developer/programmer build my site and when it was done it was a $5,000 dollar masterpiece that only gave people my number to call and set appointments for me. Right, a big waste, and you would think my business would grow faster. It did not even bring me business but what it did do is make me learn simple HTML when I did not have any money left for my Web master that asked for her money up front before she would even get started.
After playing around with this site I created with the last of my savings until I did not have the monthly fee to help keep it going finally came to and end and all that money and work was gone for ever. Now, I could have got up set or I could have learned from it. So I got up set, then I learned what I did wrong. When I look back on all the crap I had gone through I'm glad I did because now when I see what's not working I know it when I see it and can make adjustments that will benefit my project. So I look at spending $5,000 as a class that would teach me how and what to look for. I did not have a mentor and know one at that time was around to help me from tripping all over my self.
Now time has passed and I see how the Internet has changed from when I started back in 2000. It moves 5 times faster now and if you don't know what's going on with online marketing you can be taken for every dime you have in a blink of an eye. There are so many so called Gurus out there selling their new now next best thing. It will make your head spin if you don't focus. that's just what they are trying to do, get you not to focus on your online business. I have looked at some opportunity jumped right on bored only to find out its nothing but crap. I would get out before my trial was up only to have them send my email to master list. Other wards if I don't get you this way I will keep trying with some other crap I will tell you is better then slice bread. Until I have to get not only off there list but other list of gurus they sold my email to.
After doing this for a minute you will see the groups that run in the same pattern. Don't get me wrong they do have some great products and service out there but there are some groups that are there just to feed of your blood and other word your money until you are bone dried out.
This has help me keep out of Dracula's grasp and stay focus on the path to success.
1. Remember, this is a business, your business if you don't respect it then know one will.
2. You can not see the Forrest before the trees. So plan your work then work your plan. Going into the woods with out the right equipment and direction is only going to get you lost dazed and confused.
3. You can follow a path that has been traveled but repave the road so that others will be glad to follow.
4. Help others along the way. I'm not saying to give away some of your information, product or service. But remember know one ever gets to the top alone and with out some form of help. There is also some thing called karma and yes some times she is a female dog. So treat others the way you like to be treated.
5. Know your worth. in this line of business other will tell you that what you offer is not good or you need to change your goals. Take it for what it is, an opinion if you can see the good in it you will know deep inside. But also remember opinions are just like sorry to say, assholes every one has one.
Now that we have gone though my 5 commandments there are some other thing you need to know. like your niche, what are you going to sale on line and how are you going to do it. Are you going to sell your own products and services or are you going to sell others or both. It don't really matter but you do need some thing to sale or you are just using the world wide web for your own personal soap box. Good look with that. We all know if you are investing one line you are looking to profit are you would just chat with your family and friend on social media and even sales people are lurking there to get your business.
If you not selling your own product or service then you must be looking for the right affiliate program. Now their are two kind of programs point blink the ones you pay to sell and the one you don't have to pay them to sell but you will still pay. Right, I said it you are still paying to promote their product or service even if you are just placing their information on the site you pay for or your time. Remember you can always pay for things but you can never get back the time. This is why I say know your worth.
These are things I check before or during my two months trial.
1 check to see how long the company has been in business and if they have other products and services they offer this tells if they are new or been in the game for a minute.
2. always check for reviews, see what other affiliates are saying about the product or service. I know every thing is not for every body but I do like to know things like, they will not pay for sales on a mobile devices like ipads, cell phone and Kendell's. allot of programs will not tell you that but love it when you market to mobile devices so they don't have to pay.
3. That bring me to the contract, some times they hide information like they can close your account and not pay commission for violations of contract. Remember a job may fire you but they still pay for work done. This creams to me. They don't wish to pay me even if they would have never got this lead, paying customer you have to leave behinde or worse along with monthly payments you will miss out on. Know what you are singing up front before you make the commitment. Also remember if you bring above average in sales to this organization you can always renegotiate. I can't say it enough know your worth.
4. Only sale products or service that are ethical, safe, some thing you can stand behind remember it's your brand that's on the line. If people find that you will just sell anything to get there hard earn cash they will feel they are just a sale to you. You may find yourself being reviewed some where that others can see what they think you are all about. We did talk about karma right?

Keep focused don't get distracted with new things you can sell remember if you are not selling what you have now. what in the hell you going to do with a new product, Get as much as you can handle in your niche then work on marketing, marketing and more marketing. And only till your sells reach the goal you set for the month or year don't keep adding. Get to know what you have and how to sell it first, that will also help you understand the next up coming project even better.

Getting started the right way

If you have just started in internet marketing or have been marketing for years you know or will find out, every one thinks they have the bigger better deal. Some times you well come a cross web sites that sounds great, until you try to sell their products or service. You find later ether know one is biting or don't feel the same way you feel about this product.
Why is this? This is only because others have tried it already, or it just don't sound that good to them. You have to remember that you're not the only affiliate that's marketing this product. So how do you find products and services that sale? Well for starters you should only sell thing that you will stand behind and believe in.
Don't let the gurus just put things in front of you and you just jump on board. "Think" would I use this product or just sell it? If you just going to sell it I would say, run for the hills. If it's something that you can't use most likely others will fill the same way. Also remember this. You make and sale donuts, would you go down to street to buy pastries for breakfast before you buy your own.
Also how long have this product been on the market and is it just a trend? the internet is forever changing you may pick a product or service that is obsolete in most people's eyes. Before any one can get started with internet marketing you need to know what's your blue print before you get started.
Also what are the components you have in place to help manage your online business. I feel this has help me a great deal and if you are a beginner or know a little about online marketing, this is the best way to get started.
1. What is your monthly budget for invest in your business? Remember this is your business and not a hobby. Don't just spend money on every new shinny affiliate program that come around.
2. What is the niche you enjoy talking about or keeps your attention? These should be something that bring you joy because you are going to spend a lot of time on it so it should be something you will not get tired of in the next week are you are domed from the start.
3 what will be your platform for marketing this product or service? will you just have products and services that you enjoy with links that you promote? will you have a website that will bring all the products and services together in one location? I like to put them all together in one place. This help with the direction of traffic. I fill it's best to let others order what they like from one tray, you can always go back and promote other products and services, so start with a great web site that's really easy to use not only for your visitors but members as well. You can also make changes to like Domainswhen you need to.
4.How will you let people know you're on the world-wide-web? Remember just because you build it doesn't mean people know it's there. You need to get listed and if SEO is not your thing then you will find out what it's like to be by passed with no traffic coming in to see what you have to offer. So would recommend find out how to SEO works and get started or just have checking out a programs that will get you listed fast so every one can find you I use Entireweb because they let you list your site for free with them and they place your site on all the main search engines.
5. Now how do you get people to become members, so you can resale them on new products and services? It's funny how you never know if your site is being visited or not until the hosting that you are using has analytic in the back office or you set something up with Google analytic. I prefer that my hosting provide that as well. I like to contain all that information in one location and Domains is the service I use. It really has all that and more that comes with the service.
6. You need to get traffic to your site or link now? you can do that two ways other than just waiting on SEO to get to work and yes because you are not listed to don't mean they will all come running. That just help them find you almost like G.P.S for the internet. You can just get right out in front of traffic by paying to for it or website exchange groups and I have to sources for you adfly and cool traffic.
a. Adfly I found that this service is great for bringing you paid traffic but you should always use a squeeze page to capture your leads and filter them. more information about squeeze pages in number 7. you can also make a little money with Adfly by shorting links you have from affiliate programs that you promote on your site or other sites that will let you post.
B. Cool traffic is a free site but offers paid service as well, and I use both. You may have to work a little by surfing but I have also found other affiliate program there as well as services. It's not bad, you surf up to 50 site before they will promote your site,product or service but you can also buy traffic with out surfing. I like lots of traffic to my site.
7. How do you get the leads to promote other products and service? Well you need a great squeeze page as I stated in number 6. If you don't know what that is it's a landing page that will get the information you need to contact the leads you send there with adfly, cool traffic and yes even face book and other social media sites. this is also where you would keep all that information. I know you thinking I can just keep all that on my Google, Yahoo, Hotmail or other accounts. Yes you can but if you spam some one and they cries fail, your account and all the lead you have, can be gone in the blink of an eye. You need a place they can not control and this please will also offer them away to stop your emails based on the spam act. Plus you don't need people on your list that don't like being there. You will never get a sale from them and they can get you in lots of trouble if they can't opt out. So I use a service called Awebber. They have special offers like a $1 trial period for a month, you will just have to see what they are offering at the time you would like to join. They also have Video tutorials to help with squeeze pages and other service that come with your plan.
Okay I stop at seven because it's a lucky number and with the information you have been given it should help you get start the right way. Just remember this your business and only you can make make it happen and you will only get out of it what you put in. So start investing now, plant your seeds now because if you wait until tomorrow it may never come or you would have wished you have got started because you would have been making money by now.
